Jo and model Kristina

With a Degree in Printed Textiles and a Masters in Design with Distinction Jo is a multifunctional designer always looking for a new challenge from researching the latest breakthrough in wearable technology to passing on traditional crafting skills to children.

As is echoed through her work Jo prides herself on the ability to change and adapt to new situations and roles with ease and enthusiasm.

She loves creating beautiful items with an unusual edge. Mixing hand drawn silhouettes with chameleon like dyes allows her pieces to magically transform in colour when exposed to heat or UV light. This capability to transform bestows upon her creations a life and personality all of their own and can act as a connector, between wearer and garment, in our ever-changing disconnected and digital world. This combined with her unique take on pattern cutting and material sourcing (Jo’s pieces tend to be printed on recycled or reclaimed clothing and textiles) gives the once precious a new lease of life and a chance to shine and be treasured once more…
